Finance sits at the very heart of WorldRemit. We’re managing the financial results of a global business so that it can make informed decisions to help it succeed for our customers. We’re moving at pace, working on projects that result in faster and more accurate data that will shape the future of WorldRemit, and that of our customers.

On top of the usual monthly functions of every finance team, we’re also making sure we’re compliant with the relevant regulatory reporting requirements across the world.

Our wider Finance team covers many bases, comprising accounting, reporting, financial control, budgets, forecasting, treasury, foreign exchange and corporate development. This means there’s a huge range of opportunities for exposure to a multitude of projects and to move from team to team and gain new skills.

It is being led by a dynamic and experienced Chief Risk and Compliance Officer, Phil Doyle, who has truly “been there and done that”. Phil and his colleagues are on a mission to build a world-class risk and compliance function for WorldRemit and are looking for people to play an active role in our success.

Compliance

We’re enabling customers’ ambitions; maintaining compliance with global regulations is integral to that. However, the key ‘purpose’ of compliance is to protect our customers, ensure they can trust WorldRemit, and make sure we treat their money as if it were our own.

This energetic team builds and maintains close relationships with regulators across the globe, ensuring policies and frameworks are fit for purpose, up-to-date and regularly tested and assured.
