Catherine Wines Bursary

The Catherine Wines bursary was created in memory of the late co-founder of WorldRemit. It offers funding to individuals and groups who are doing remarkable things in the world. The inaugural recipient was software engineer and WorldRemit employee, Zaira Raisool.

Ismail Ahmed’s Promise

WorldRemit founder, Ismail Ahmed, is committing $500 million of his own wealth and investments over the next 10 years to Somaliland-focused development programmes. The Sahamiye Foundation will aim to double Somaliland’s literacy rate to 90% by 2023. Read more about it here:

Learning & Development

At WorldRemit, personal development is important to us – we want an environment where everyone feels empowered to progress their career.
