Since our launch in 2010, we’ve been pushing boundaries to support our customers. We’re growing and we want to hear from talented individuals who want to play a role in driving financial inclusion. In particular, you will:
Put the customer first: You can see the bigger picture and appreciate the implications of your actions on our customers. You are motivated by the communities we serve. You want to achieve more because you know you’re not the only one to benefit.
Invent and build the future: You thrive on the fact we’re still shaping what we do. You find answers when you see a question, and identify new and better ways of doing things. You’re resilient and don’t let change phase you. You shape ambiguity into actions and a way forward.
Take pride in what you do: You have the tenacity, drive and focus to succeed in a performance-driven environment and the ability to make the complex simple – solving problems and building at scale. A willingness to seek out your own opportunities for development.
In return, we offer:
Job satisfaction: A sense of satisfaction – our purpose is why we perform. By growing our business scalably we can solve for more customers – it’s a win win. You’ll be working hard to help more people realise their financial ambitions, in support of a purpose that’s as important today as the day we were founded.
Career-defining opportunities: The chance to help define the way things are done. To play an active role in our future success, as part of a well-established company, yet all of the potential that comes with a scale-up, backed by highly credible investors.
An attractive workplace: To work in a genuinely diverse team, underpinned by different perspectives, alongside our world-class leadership team with industry-leading tech. Exposure to the exciting and challenging reality of a business quickly evolving. The chance to shape your own future. Access to great offices, facilities and benefits.
If this sounds like you, we want to hear from you!

WorldRemit colleagues are driven by our mission – to be chosen by customers to support their ambitions wherever they are in the world. To make sure we do that we use our WorldRemit behaviours which you can find here
Working at WorldRemit means you get access to a wide range of experiences – from being a part of a cross-functional project team to working alongside our hugely experienced senior leadership team, there’s plenty of opportunities to get exposure to career-defining experiences.
We take our chance to give back seriously and the things that are important to our customers are also important to us. Here are some ways we give back at WorldRemit.
The Catherine Wines bursary was created in memory of the late co-founder of WorldRemit. It offers funding to individuals and groups who are doing remarkable things in the world. The inaugural recipient was software engineer and WorldRemit employee, Zaira Raisool.
WorldRemit founder, Ismail Ahmed, is committing $500 million of his own wealth and investments over the next 10 years to Somaliland-focused development programmes. The Sahamiye Foundation will aim to double Somaliland’s literacy rate to 90% by 2023. Read more about it here:
At WorldRemit, personal development is important to us – we want an environment where everyone feels empowered to progress their career. All colleagues have access to LinkedIn Learning and we love using our business challenges to stretch our colleagues and bring them opportunities to grow. We attract people who have a willingness to seek out their own opportunities for development, and working alongside our highly experienced ExCo means the exposure to learning is enormous. With leaders with backgrounds in household consumer digital organisations such as King, Skyscanner and Deliveroo, there’s lots of chances to learn as you grow.
Our customers are global and so are we – we currently employ 1,200+ colleagues and we have offices right across the world. It’s vital to us that all our colleagues can contribute, feel included and be their authentic selves so they can do their best work to support our customers and our business. Many of us, like our customers, support the I Fly Two Flags campaign and in 2022 our Culture Crew (a cross-functional team of colleagues) set up a D&I group to support diversity and inclusion across WorldRemit.
